Single? Not much to do around Valentines Day? Come and have a giggle with people in the same boat and support Coming Home at our first Speed Dating Event!
Don't be a shrinking violet - join us for a fun fundraising evening, and you never know, you might
meet "The One" and get yourself a date for Valentine's Day! The venue is Jewel Bar (Covent Garden) 29-30 Maiden Lane, London, WC2E 7JS.
Tickets cost £20, all proceeds go to Coming Home.

12 hour non-stop Spinnathon!

Join fitness fanatic Emily Campbell and motorcycle legend and former Guiness World Record holder Maria Costello on their non-stop 12 hour spinning challenge. The pair will start the challenge at 0800hrs at Dallington Raquets and Fitness Club, Northampton and will be joined every hour by a new spinning instructor and class of spinners, including members of the Northampton Saints Rugby team. To book a place in one of the classes, call the club on 01604 592929. You can join in as many of the classes as you want – your stamina is your only barrier! Are you up to the challenge?
Emily and Maria will collecting sponsorship, both online and at the event.
If you would to participate, request a sponsorship form from the club or email Coming Home at enquiries@haighousingtrust.org.uk. Participation costs £5, payable to the Club and participants are encouraged to collect as much sponsorship money as possible.

Phillip Johnson from Haig Housing Trust is embarking on a gruelling 220 km (136 mile) bike ride through Morocco, covering the Atlas Mountains and the fringes of the Sahara. A keen mountain biker, Phillip is no stranger to tough challenges, but admits that the terrain and the weather will make this particular challenge all the more testing. Seasoned marathon runners Pete and Emily Campbell are embarking on their first of three international marathons this year to raise money for Coming Home. The Barcelona Marathon looks set to start them off in style, with a fantastic route around the vibrant city.
Pete previously served in the Army, and Emily’s sister is still serving, so Coming Home is a charity very close to their hearts. To sponsor them for their triple whammy of marathons, please follow this link.
