- Phillip Johnson from Haig Housing Trust is embarking on a gruelling 220 km (136 mile) bike ride through Morocco, covering the Atlas Mountains and the fringes of the Sahara. A keen mountain biker, Phillip is no stranger to tough challenges, but admits that the terrain and the weather will make this particular challenge all the more testing. - REME Brothers-in Law SSgt Steve Chessell and Cpl Chris Atkinson will be running in the first ever Marathon of the North on 6th May. The race will start and finish at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland and will be run as part of the festival weekend.
